CEI is working with the Garvey School District on Phase II of their modernization. This involves five schools within the district- Dewey Elementary , Duff Elementary, Sanchez Elementary, Garvey Intermediate and Temple Intermediate School. Dewey and Duff are near completion with Markerboards and Cabinets being installed now. The Garvey Intermediate PE Building is finishing up with the toilet partitions installed and final phase work completed. Also at Garvey Intermediate, the portable relocatables are moving to Temple Intermediate with hook ups taking place at the end of the month. Sanchez Elementary Phase II Abatement is continuing.

Mount Carmel "Building U and the Fire Lane" is in its final close out phase. The return of the students went without a hitch. The remaining portions of the contract were wrapped up without any impact on the school programs. All change order work is complete.

The Piute Middle School Modernization Project within the Lancaster School District has begun. We are pleased to work with Southwest Industries, ANM, Roy E. Whitehead, Inc., Stone Roofing, Duke Plumbing, Circulating Air, and CSI Electric on this project.

CEI is continuing work on the Los Altos Elementary School Modernization project with the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. This is a 7 month project that is set to finish by the end of November, 2004. The scope of this project includes classrooms, Kindergarten units, an update of the Administration building, bathrooms, and an overall central power upgrade. The Main Campus power conversion switch over went as planned .The many phases of construction rotating throughout the campus has been completed without any major disruption the the school's programs. The final phase of construction in Building E has been completed and this enabled the students to return to those classrooms 4 weeks early. Contract closeout has begun and the project is near completion.

CEI is working on various ongoing projects within the Corona-Norco Unified School District. These projects include Centennial High School, Corona High School, and Santiago High School.

CEI is upgrading electrical systems and relocating classrooms at various school sites within the Palm Springs Unified School District. These projects will continue throughout the summer. We are also bidding on two new projects within the Palm Springs Unified School District.

Summer is a very busy time of year, and finishing projects before the school year begins is crucial. CEI is proud to say that all projects are progressing right on schedule, and we are proud that students will thrive in their new schools and newly remodeled schools.

CEI is proud to have completed the brand new state of the art Jack Northrop Elementary School for the Lancaster School District. Children in Kindergarten through Fifth grade now call this new school home.
